In my day we didn't have any of those slick "Veggie Tales" videos with catchy songs and Monty Python inspired quips. All we had was the crudely animated "Flying House" series. And we had to walk five miles in the snow to watch it. Barefoot. Uphill. With wolves chasing us.

does this bring back memories are what? I loved that series!
Hey, I'm starting to post at my blog again, so check it out.
It's not as exciting as your blog, but it's something.
Wow, I loved this series. Along with Superbook and Gospel Bill, I received my pre-veggie blend of Sunday morning values and Saturday morning fun. I really wished my Bible was a time machine that brought to life my toy robot! (Though I am a bit skeptical about the quality of Biblical commentary I would have received from Leader One of the GoBots)
One of my favorites was the story of Ehud the Judge. It was even titled "The Good Left Arm" Very affirming to young southpaws, but still a gutsy choice for a kids' Bible cartoon. I've got a lot of respect for anyone who teaches about the lesser known judges.
"Then we came upon a house, should we go insiiiiiiiiiide?!"
haha, that's great
Still, I think Flying House beats Johnny Quest!
